MSLBA was formed, in part, because our association's leaders were concerned that actions in the Maryland State House and in the United States Congress were having a direct impact on the business operations of licensed beverage licensees. It was apparent that our representation in Annapolis and Washington D.C. coupled with monitoring the legislative and regulatory process, was a sound business decision. The recent trend toward increased state and national intervention in the licensed beverage business -- and our successes on your behalf -- dramatizes the need for even stronger unity within our industry.
