Message About Our Legislative Activities
MSLBA was formed,
in part, because our association's leaders were concerned
that actions in the Maryland State House and in the United
States Congress were having a direct impact on the business
operations of licensed beverage licensees. It was apparent
that our representation in Annapolis and Washington D.C.
coupled with monitoring the legislative and regulatory
process, was a sound business decision. The recent trend
toward increased state and national intervention in the
licensed beverage business -- and our successes on your
behalf -- dramatizes the need for even stronger unity within
our industry.
