If your business is located in Baltimore City, you can join MSLBA through your local affiliate, the Baltimore Licensed Beverage Association (BLBA).  BLBA represents alcohol beverage license retailers which includes taverns, restaurants, package liquor stores, hotels, bowling alleys and fraternal clubs.  When you join us, your dues include membership in our state affiliate,  the Maryland State Licensed Beverage Association (MSLBA) and our national affiliate, the American Beverage Licensees (ABL).

OUR PURPOSE:

BLBA is a non-profit trade organization, formed to protect and to preserve the interests of the alcohol beverage retailer in Baltimore City.  

LEGISLATIVE:

BLBA monitors the issuance of new licenses and transferred licenses in Baltimore City by the liquor board,  during our monthly board meetings.  Additionally, we monitor the Baltimore City Council meetings on issues affecting our members.  Each year, while the legislature is in session in Annapolis, we actively review proposed legislation and represent our members on the MSLBA Legislative Committee, which meets weekly during the session.
